Tudor – Heritage Black Bay “Midnight Blue Bezel” Ref. 79220B
The Tudor Heritage Black Bay was first introduced in 2012 out of a warm vintage-looking variant with a black chocolate dial, pink-gold hands and hour markers, and burgundy bezel. This year, at BaselWorld 2014, Tudor presented another rendition of the Heritage Black Bay – with reference number 79220B – described by a deep-black dial, silvery hour markers and a 12 PM blue bezel which matches the color of the crown tube.
The Tudor Heritage Black Bay determines its lines and its domed crystal from the brand’s first divers’ watch, the Tudor Submariner reference 7922, launched in 1954 while the signature angular hands, referred to by connoisseurs as “Snowflakes”, were seen from 1969 to the early 1980s.
The robust 41 mm steel case, with polish and silk finish, houses the self-winding mechanical development, Tudor caliber 2824, offering a force save of approximately 38 hours.
The twisting crown in steel, engraved with the Tudor rose, is screwed down to guarantee waterproofness to 200 m (660 ft).
The Tudor Heritage Black Bay can be coordinated to a matured leather lash or to a steel bracelet, both with folding clasp and wellbeing get.
An additional texture tie with buckle is also supplied with the watch.
