As a review of the oddities arranged for the SIHH (Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie) 2015, Parmigiani Fleurier introduced a squelette rendition of its Tonda 1950 model.
Housed in a 39 mm case with a thickness of simply 8.4 mm, oneself winding development has been openworked altogether by hand with the most noteworthy thoughtfulness regarding completing quality, as shown by the sensitive inner points of scaffolds and principle plate.
Comprising 144 components, the PF705 type runs at 21,600 vibrations each hours with a force hold of 42 hours. Since the platinum miniature rotor is noticeable likewise on the outside of the watch, and not simply on the rear of the development, the typically inconspicuous face has been embellished with an example shaped of Parmigiani Fleurier’s notorious hauls.
Produced using sapphire, the dial of the Tonda 1950 Squelette is imperceptible. Just the metallised edge, bearing the Parmigiani Fleurier logo and the hour markers, permits the wearer to recognize it.
