Pre-SIHH 2015: Cartier – Rêves de Panthères
The puma is a customary subject for Cartier gems and watches yet in the Rêves de Panthères watch – a SIHH 2015 see – it shows up without precedent for a pack, encompassing and noticing a wonderfully decorated circle where the sun and the moon alternate demonstrating the hour of the day.
While we are not especially attached to jeweled watches we need to concede that the Rêves de Panthères watch is indeed captivating: a female translation of one of Cartier’s latest assembling developments, oneself winding type 9916 MC with day/night complication which beats at 28,800 vibrations each hours and offers a force save of around 48 hours.
The 42 mm rodium-completed white gold case is altogether pavé-set with jewels with the outlines of the cats spotted with dark enamel. The lone hand, blade formed and made of blued steel, demonstrates the minutes.
A dim blue crocodile skin lash with collapsing clasp completes the watch. cartier.com
