Oris – 110 Years Limited Edition
To celebrate 110 years of history, the Hölstein-based Oris declared the Calibre 110, the primary mechanical development created from the ground up by Oris for 35 years.
The Caliber 110 will show up in another watch, the Oris 110 Years Limited Edition, highlighting a multi-piece case with a measurement of 43 mm.
This new hand-wound type beating at 21,600 vph, highlights a 10-day power reserve and a protected non-direct power reserve sign. Oris has adopted an intentionally mechanical strategy to creating this exceptional development. While Caliber 110’s edges are all hand-bevelled and hand-cleaned, the bridges’ enormous surfaces don’t conceal their modern beginning.
The opaline-silver shading dial with applied lists and numerals is portrayed by the large display at 3 o’clock demonstrating the measure of force staying in the barrel from 10 days down to zero.
At the highest point of the scale, the indents addressing the days are near one another; at the base they are further separated. As the force is delivered, the hand moves clockwise around the scale, gradually from the outset, and afterward more rapidly as the scores become more fanned out. This causes the wearer to more readily picture how much force is left in the watch as the second to wind it draws near.
The Oris 110 Years Limited Edition will be accessible in tempered steel or rose gold with retails costs of CHF 5,500 and CHF 14,800 respectively.
Accessible in April 2014, Oris will create 110 pieces in 18 steel and 110 pieces in rose gold.
