IWC – Portofino Midsize collection
IWC just introduced the new Portofino Midsize collection, an exemplary watch line which incorporates a few precious stone set models, in accordance with the expanding overall interest for watches set with jewels.
The 2014 Portofino Midsize assortment incorporates three new 37-millimeter models in 17 distinct renditions: the Portofino Midsize Automatic (Ref. 4581), the Portofino Midsize Automatic Day & Night (Ref. 4591) and the Portofino Midsize Automatic Moon Phase (Ref. 4590).
The Portofino Midsize Automatic (Ref. 4581), an absolutely traditional three-hand watch with date show, comes in four red-gold and six tempered steel forms, every one either with or without a jewel set bezel.
The new Portofino Midsize Automatic Day & Night, available in red-gold (Ref. IW459102) or treated steel (Ref. IW459101), highlights a subsequent time region and 24-hour day/night show.
For the dials of the red-gold and treated steel forms of the Portofino Midsize Automatic Moon Phase, IWC picked mother-of-pearl in white (Ref. IW459001/IW459002/IW459005) and black (Ref. IW459003) with bezels encrusted with 66 jewels.
Furthermore, at last, the lead of the new Midsize assortment: the Portofino Midsize Automatic Moon Phase in white gold (Ref. IW459004) with dial, bezel and horns brightened with a sum of 174 unadulterated white jewels. The dark black dial has a few carefully applied layers of polish making the valuable stone genuinely stick out.
Notwithstanding the Midsize assortment, IWC likewise disclosed three new Portofino Automatic models highlighting 40-millimeter cases and date, each including a bezel set with valuable stones, in red gold case with silver-plated (Ref. IW356515) or record hued (Ref. IW356516) dial and in white gold (Ref. IW356514) with a silver-plated dial.
