Highlights from Artcurial Fine Watches Auction, 20-21 July 2015

On Monday July 20th and Tuesday July 21st 2015, at the Hôtel Hermitage in Monte-Carlo, the French sales management firm Artcurial will offer available to be purchased an intriguing determination of fine wrist watches.

One of the feature of the deal will be lot 145, a Panerai Radiomir PAM00021, one of the lone 60 models in platinum made in 1997 to commemorate the principal Radiomir Panerai watch created in 1937 for the Italian Navy. The watch is fitted with a period Rolex development. Indeed, when Vendome purchased Panerai (the rights to the name), they likewise purchased 60 vintage Rolex developments that were away at Panerai and chosen to make the PAM00021 Limited Edition. It comes with a subsequent platinum case back. Gauge: Euro 130,000 – 180,000.

Lot 163 is a Breguet Subscription Set (n° 8/300) delivered in 1991 and motivated by the “montre de souscription” that Abraham-Louis Breguet began making toward the finish of the eighteenth century. These watches were sold by membership: an up front installment of a fourth of the cost on hand and the equilibrium on conveyance. This set incorporates a ceaseless pocket watch (a genuine imitation of a well known model made by the extraordinary expert watchmaker) and a never-ending wristwatch with minute reiteration. The two pieces are made from 18k yellow gold with Breguet’s commonplace fluted caseband, silver guilloché dials with blued steel hands and painted Roman numerals. With the first hazel wood coffin, devices and papers, the parcel has a gauge of Euro 200,000 – 300,000.

One of the few Rolex Daytona watches at a bargain, lot 151 is a reference 6265 tracing all the way back to 1973 with an excellent and rare brown dial with cream counters. The 37 mm steel case with screwed crown and pushers houses the Caliber 727 hand-wound chronograph development with section wheel. Gauge: Euro 90,000 – 110,000.

Likewise on special as part 119 a lovely Patek Philippe Ref. 130, around 1941. This 18K rose gold chronograph has a 33 mm round case and highlights a copper brushed pink dial with 2 counters (30 chronograph minutes at 3 o’clock and little seconds at 9 o’clock), applied Roman numerals and tachymeter scale. Accompanied by the first box and endorsement of starting point, this part has a gauge of Euro 35,000 – 55,000.
