Chronoswiss – Sirius Retrograde Day
The Sirius Retrograde Day, a Baselworld 2014 curiosity from Chronoswiss , combines the exemplary Sirius case with a metal dial offering the extra highlights of a major date and a retrograde day of the week.
The 40 mm case in cleaned red gold with an incompletely fluted caseband houses an automatic Chronoswiss development, the type C.286 beating at 28,800 vibrations each hour and offering a force hold of 42 hours. The skeletonized rotor is embellished with Côtes de Genève. The case is water impervious to 30 meters.
The dial is accessible in dull dim (ref. CH 8121 R ds) or in a “earthenware” subtlety (ref. CH 8121 R cp). The feuille hands are gold-plated.
A Louisiana crocodile calfskin lash with pin clasp completes the watch.
